Introducing Alison True and her Dog Friendly Lake District guide

My husband and I have been providing ‘dog-focussed’ guest accommodation at Low Nest Farm near Keswick since 2006. These publications have evolved as a consequence of my involvement with visitors to the area during that period. The booklet, visiting the Lake District with your dog, comes from the discussions I had with guests over breakfast each morning; problems they were encountering, information they needed and general questions they raised about walking in the area. The walk routes included are those I enjoy myself and regularly recommended to guests.
Some years ago a guest said “you know Alison, you should write all this down” - and so the process began.
